Dear Surfer:

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was small, but delicious and we had leftovers for about a week. Yum!

Not much happened with bn9 in November. I think the band rehearsed once. It was a nice break, but I'm ready to get back to work! Marco and I are out of control trying to book festivals for 2006. We plan to travel as far as Florida, if they'll book us, but mainly, if they'll pay us. I'm upset with myself for focussing so much on earning money playing, but no one in the band is independently wealthy and gas does cost money.

Marco and I went to see the Radiators perform at Mexicali Blues. It was a great show and I learned something from it... I learned that downtime between songs is really annoying, as I suspected. They played just about every song back to back with no chitter chatter whatsoever. I'm thinking of getting an electroshock control machine with nodes attached to Jack, and every time he putzes between songs, he'd get a shock which would trigger his brain to just start the next freakin' song! Heh... ok, I'm really not THAT crazy or sadistic and he's not that bad, but it does annoy me at times.

I've got a solo show on December 10th... my first ever. It's going to be great... this band is smoking. I hope you'll come. Here's the details:

SATURDAY, Decmeber 10th @the Stone Pony

Proceeds benefit the Monmouth/Ocean Food Bank and the New Jersey Music Hall of Fame

Next up for blue number nine - we've got 2 singers to audition because we'll need more singers for 2006. Good news - Camari's moving back to NYC on January 1st! In case you didn't know, she's been living in Columbus Ohio for the past 2 years (it actually may be 3 years... I don't know. I'm not good at time frames.) Our next show is in February, so you need to come out and welcome her back!

While you're online, why not join blue number nine on --> This website is great! It's free for bands and the audio player is really cool. I know people sometimes have trouble with our audio player on this site, but the MySpace player always works. There's also

Anyway, that's about all. Thanks for reading!
