I, Stefanie, frazzled bandleader and webmaster and manager and human resources manager, admit... I had a great time during this gig. The weather was beautiful - you can see I'm wearing a jacket and I wasn't dying of heat. There was a nice breeze, no sign of rain, so we didn't even need a tent. But you'll also notice new faces in these photos. We had new people on guitar, vocals and sax. The guitarist had one rehearsal, we found and rehearsed with the singer on Thursday and she did the gig on Friday, and the sax player never even heard bn9 before! The original date was 8/5, but the venue called the gig for rain. Of course, on 8/5, right at 12:30 when we would have been playing, the sun came out! But Jenny Hill, sax, was going on tour on the 6th and Sheila had to go to her day job and I had only realized there was a rain date on Wednesday! So I was completely stressed out leading up to this gig. THANKS JOHN FOR THESE AWESOME PICTURES and to everyone in "PHOTO" for your incredible support!
